Today I will describe one of the styles<\/span> in which<\/span> I work<\/span><\/span>.This<\/span> popular style<\/span> is called Petrikivka.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Petrikovka is a ethnic style, popular in Ukraine.It said that many years ago, each ukrainian woman loving her house painted in this\u00a0 style\u00a0 his house wall.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ha-ha-ha-ha…<\/p>\n

I continue<\/span> the tradition of my ancestors\u00a0 already for 20 years\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42
\nReally love\u00a0 try\u00a0 new colors and shades, changing the line and I love to draw cocks\u00a0\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

I finished<\/span> to draw this picture yesterday…..
\nIts size 11″x14′ oil canvas<\/span><\/p>\n


\n\u00a0Inspired me this winter by the drawing<\/span><\/span>\u00a0 in the design of,,Petrikivskaya<\/span> paintings,, the party paintings<\/span> …….<\/span><\/p>\n

\nWinter came powerfully and heavy snowfall….<\/span><\/p>\n

Sitting<\/span> in a warm room near the window, I will fill my paintings in blue and white….
\nThis winter colors….colors cold .My paintings inhabit the area between abstraction and figuration.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>I drew a<\/span>\u00a0 collection of paintings under the inspiration of winter evenings, intensive studio work, household chores and joyful mood in anticipation of the New Year….<\/span><\/p>\n

This third<\/span> work in this style.I can’t stop.I think about\u00a0 upcoming holidays, I must prepare for it.<\/span> I must clean the house.I must stop painting for holiday’s time.
\nI can not stop………
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

I’m<\/span> keen on<\/span> color tones and patterns.
\nWants to create more and more<\/span>.<\/p>\n

I will describe the<\/span> technique works on a dark canvas.<\/span><\/h2>\n


\nIt’s a hard work.<\/span>
\nOften<\/span> operate on a light canvas or paper and\u00a0 by watercolor or gouache or acrylic.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I chose<\/span> the hard way.
\nI draw on a dark canvas by oil paints.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

First, I paint a white background canvas to\u00a0 black color.I am waiting for it to dry more then week.
\nSo once I prepar to 10 canvas.
\nThen I draw by pencil ekskiz future painting.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\nI look\u00a0 the works of famous Ukrainian artists, taking their example.
\nBut I come up with my own style and pattern<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Then begin wonders\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42
\nI draw a painting\u00a0 on\u00a0 one or two days.
\nA lot of energy gives the painting such artwork.
\nThen I wait two days to paint has dried up.
\nAnd after two three-day repeat layers.
\nOften repeat white<\/span> color.That color sensitive,white color disappears on a dark background.
\nI repeat up to three times applying white color.
\nIt is necessary that the picture come brighter.
\nThis is not seen on the canvas.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

And….told about my small cute helper …..
\nI dry the painting in the room where my Chihuahua Cindy lives.
\nI land on the newspaper\u00a0 on the floor and dry my paintinds here.
\nCindy\u00a0 during the night appreciates my creativity…..Ha-ha-ha….
\nI have several times found the image of the dog’s feet in my pictures\u00a0\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42
\nSo it is she\u00a0 signed…..
\nI washed them<\/span>….and painted again….
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

After drying<\/span> I put on paintings Varnish to save colors from destruction.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n
