I made mistake

My mistake is in the latest publications on Saachi and I will quickly try to correct them. I made a mistake in the description of the paintings and the materials that were used for the paintings.

Everything is simple.

I pressed drawing and it gave me out of five types, everything that did not fit the description and I chose a pencil.

I did not find either oil or acrylic.

I was wrong. I had to choose painting and then there is oil paint, acrylic or gouache.

Oh, I am a gaper))
I urgently change it, it takes a lot of time, so that you understand a little.

Today I am posting another painting, very dear and important to me – this is a Portrait made in the cubism direction. I have dedicated a lot of my works to this direction and many of them are already owned by collectors around the world.

This direction is close to me and I really like it.
I made this picture with acrylic paints, although before that, until 2018, I worked with oil paints in most of my works. Since 2018, I started working with acrylic.

Which gives me more time to work, since in our northern Canadian latitudes, winter lasts six months and the oil does not dry and gives a smell and it takes a long time to paint. Of course, there is a way out of the situation. But I switched and other types of my works appeared in my collection. Take this picture, admire, enjoy and remember that the world is beautiful. How beautiful is everything that belongs to its creator, that is created for life and that is eternal, like our soul

New attack

Why are the site being attacked?
Yesterday, the site was pulled out of a crash. It has crashed twice in the last month. Oh, come on, bots. Do people in China and Israel really not read what I write about? It’s a shame that sometimes they realize this too late.

And I continue to rake the shelves of my paintings and talk about them. There is nothing more beautiful than the artist’s own story about his work.
I created this work back in 2017.
A lot of works were created that year, about 20 came out in a year. That’s a lot.
The artist’s efficiency. You might think about it. After all, I’m not rewriting someone else’s work, but creating my own. And I’m not creating for today, not to order from someone, but I’m creating so that this work is new, fresh for a long time and conveys the era, time and date in which the painting was created.

2017.
This portrait of a young man was created to try the style of painting portraits, which is characterized as romanticism, pop art.
I created it from the image of a young man. The dark spot at the center level is a specially thought-out strategy to shade the look and emphasize the expressiveness of the image.

Well, the brightness of the colors plays along with it.
The portrait is small, 8” x 8” x1” with side processing. Finished. The material I used is oil paints. The beautiful work is covered with varnish so as not to lose the beauty of the image.
Exhibited for sale on Saatchi

Goodness and love

Almost the beginning

It is difficult to tell you in advance how the coming week will turn out.
Today a warning was announced about very strong winds in our area, which will be accompanied by heavy snowfall. They ask to prepare for possible power outages. This is not usual for our area, but attempts have been made in past years. This means that it is impossible to predict what will happen tomorrow. About 8 years ago in the area I told you about, Midland, a huge hurricane passed, which destroyed almost the entire city and after which that area was recorded as an area of strong winds.
But I am talking about something else, it is combined with surprises and unpredictability, but still more manageable.
Today about my book. About my first book, published last year. I keep a diary and described how the book appeared and why. In September, my children’s book about the history of the fleet appeared in my hands. I celebrated its appearance with all my friends and I am glad that they liked it. This became my transition from one type of activity to another. I am happy and proud of it. And I have not stopped. Now I am preparing more, several children’s books at once. I hope that they will be published as planned, by autumn.
I will allow myself to be a little smart and tell you my observations – while we are young, we search for ourselves, try and reject partly everything that was created and collected by the previous ones. And then, when we become wise and old, we combine knowledge and supplement it.
This is how I see all those who create something new, who improve and transform their existence. In the last decade of my life, I cannot live without books, without the knowledge contained in books. Although before that, I was interested in film scripts and video images.
A book can amazingly convey the time in which a person lived. And just a few posts ago, I described how Persia was created Masnavi by Rumi.

This is not only a book – a sacred scripture of the laws of life, but also funny wise stories, giving an example of an easy but instructive attitude to one’s existence, to the meaning of life and to the relationship between people.

This is the most important thing I want to convey to you.

Gregorius-the holy sinner

When I came home after this unique performance and excitedly began to share my impressions with my husband, he listened attentively, did not interrupt and with his characteristic Eastern wisdom at the end of my story answered:,,This is possible only in Toronto”
Well, of course, I fully share his words, but I also have my own additions – such a unique work has survived and today we saw it thanks to The Toronto Consort, people who preserve the oldest works and pass them on to us, revive historical masterpieces, help to see the life of past generations through musical prism.

Thank you Daniel Taylor.

Thank you Emma Kirkby

Thank you for its exellence in the performance of medieval, renaissance and early baroque music.

12th century. Today we will talk about it.
What is wonderful and surprising is that literally my previous post talked about the same period, but in Persia, in the East. And today I am publishing about another place – about Europe in the 12th century.
Yesterday, somehow I came across my thought that in the 12th century the church was strong over society and dictated its own rules. People were looking for a way out of their life’s troubles and where then they covered themselves with it, somewhere in the opposite direction of the church they acted. In Europe, a cleavage was already coming. (Yesterday I said that the cleavage occurred in the 15th century, and we were just talking and my interlocutor decided to watch it later, whether it was so. It turned out that I was right, in the middle of the 15th century a dissent occurred, which changed the traditional framework of rules, the secession of Catholicism, Orthodoxy.)
But let’s still talk about GRIGORIOUS_THE HOLY SINNER himself.

I should retell the plot a little, because no matter how much the woman is the cause of all the misfortunes in this work, Gregorius still remains the main character and the misfortune of the whole story.

A young girl sins with her brother before her wedding. This causes her to become pregnant. She hides the pregnancy and gives birth in complete secrecy in a monastery, after which she goes down the aisle. The child is dressed in silk clothes and sent down the river with God in a small boat with a note. A fisherman finds him, brings him to a church official, who leaves the child, asks the fisherman to raise him and helps raise the child as a servant of God.
The mother gets married, but three days after the coronation, her husband and her brother die. She mourns them and buries them.
After 17 years (I am interested in this chronology, it is different from ours, I guess) the boy grows up and becomes the main priest in this area. He needs to get married and his wife becomes his… mother (he and she feel some kind of love and closeness)

Being intimate, the mother sees the signs of her son and asks about them, she understands that in front of her is her son and tells him about it.
He is confused, depressed and killed. He runs away from her, comes to the fisherman, and decides to go to the hermits, where he spends 17 years in the wild nature (again this date).Gregorius throws the key into the sea and says that when the key is found, he will return (very popular for those times).
According to the rules of the time, Paul takes the place of the missing priest and asks three servants to find out and understand what happened to Gregorius.

The messengers come to the fisherman, and the old man treats them to his catch – a big fish. When he cleaned it for them – he found a key in the fish’s belly. It was a sign, and they went to the mountains to look for the hermit. They found him alive, but changed, wild and angry, aggressive. They asked him to come back and showed him the key.
They went to the city, carrying the news of the living Gregorius. Three days later the monk returned to the city, which greeted him with greetings, singing and dancing.
He returned to the rank of Pope.

His mother came to him, having learned that he was alive.
They returned to love, began to live together and even had two heirs.

About the beautiful tales in the form of songs, created in the 12th century.

Sequentia-a series of musical narratives performed by three vocal artists @BenjaminBagby ,@jasminaCrncic and @LucasPapenfusscline

The wonderful trio of vocalists performed the story in German and the originality of the performance is a tribute to the work of Benjamin Bagby, who created this kind of innovative musical storytelling and has been transmitting it for almost 50 years since 1977, nurturing a generation of young performers and touring the world. He created more than 30 recordings spanning the entire Middle Ages(including the complete works of Hildegard von Bingen),film and television productions of medieval music drama.Today I am telling you about a work created in the 12th century.

And this kind of work is called medieval theatre and is a genre of mystery, farces and masks, as well as English cyclical dramas.

Medieval theaters originate from the Roman Empire (again Rome, the Roman Empire. How much the Roman Empire gave us – it left its notes, its traces and affected our lives for a long time, although it itself fell apart and today it is no longer there). From the time of the Roman Empire until the 15th century (when a lot changed in Europe, including what I wrote above) The themes of medieval theaters were always religious themes. Modern interpretation or traditions of medieval performances are plays of mummers, which are staged in the USA and Britain. The parade of mummers takes place every New Year in Philadelphia and is considered a folk parade. But as we can see, it is a continuation of the traditions of medieval performances.

Medieval plays also include mysteries, which are often performed in Britain. Our play is an example of a morality play as a types of drama from Middle Ages.

But how can I tell you now or describe everything that happened on stage yesterday – after all, you have to see it and it is so beautiful and refined that everything that I described to you above is very subtly told to us, the spectators in the hall, with the help of the vocalists playing the harps.

A very beautiful combination of musical harmony, playing instruments and narrative performance.

An hour and a half in one breath. And it seems that we know what will happen now, and again a curl and another story that captivates and makes you listen and follow the story.

I consider myself lucky to have listened and been a spectator of this evening.

Before the performance there was a lecture where we were told about Gregorian chant .This knowledge goes deep into the Roman Catholic origins of the church.Greagorian chant is named after St.Gregory I(590-604) it was collected and codified.

Harmonic monophonic texture makes medival music unique.

Have I filled you with intrigue?
Whenever possible, when you see posters about medieval performances, go without hesitation and enjoy this performance.
I wish you good luck

About traditions

My admiration for the art of the ancient and modern East knows no bounds. I am inspired by their elegance and careful observance of traditions. Imagine that most often in the shops at the bazaar or in the salons of small workshops you find entire generations of masters who have dedicated their lives to the work that their great-grandfather and father did. Wood inlay, olive wood carving, ornamentation on the walls and ceilings of mosques – all this is masterfully executed work that is passed down from generation to generation. And despite all the changes taking place in the East with the change of borders of countries and their existence, these people remain devoted to their craft. Simple, talented, modest masters who will take with them their accumulated knowledge, just as the masters who created the Persian rock baleriefs of Mesopotamia once disappeared.

(the combination of carving, inlay and very fine workmanship, finished in silver, creates the shine and magnificence of this door)

I have already described my admiration for the wooden door, made of silver inlay with mother-of-pearl. I will show you its appearance here.
But this is the smallest gold that I would note as a reward for love of the East.
I want to tell you that from the first books that were written in Arabic there are interesting books that we will talk about.

Masnavi by Rumi

This is an interesting collection of jokes and stories taken from the Koran, Hadith stories and simply Persian tales.

Can you, my readers, imagine the old days when books first appeared? That is, letters, written words, paper on which they wrote, and all this was formed into books. Books were written specifically for preservation and transmission to posterity, therefore, rules of conduct and lessons for edification, social order, descriptions of stories, examples of how to live and coexist were written in books. But also, the wise Persians had funny stories and jokes. Everything for the family, so to speak. In one book you could find everything

This is wisdom.
This is Eastern, Islamic wisdom. It would be interesting to get a translation of these stories, because they focus on Sufi interpretations.

This is a work of Rumi – spiritual couplets. And it is the Koran in Persian. It is a six-volume poem.

It was written by Mawlada Jalaluddin Muhammad Rumi, who lived 1207-1273, a Sufi poet, Islamic theologian, faqih. He is originally from the region of Afghanistan and Tajikistan, those places are also called Balkh and therefore he is sometimes called Balkh. His influence, after he created this poem, goes far beyond his place of residence and covers Turks, Greeks, Pashtuns, Persians. His poems have been translated into many languages of the world, and what is interesting is that he has become the best-selling poet in the United States in the modern world.

What is especially interesting is that his poems have received recognition both in the Arab world and in the Persian world, they have been translated and today they are read both in the original language and in translation. His works have influenced the popularity of Persian literature, the literary tradition of the Persians.
I do not really understand what the differences are, so I ask if anyone knows more, please help me and correct me if I am wrong.
After the death of his father, his son, in order to perpetuate the glory of his father’s works, founded the Sufi order of Mavavi, in whose rituals the works of Rumi are used.
Remember those dancing darvishes in Turkey, who spin around themselves, twisting until they feel weightlessness? These darvishes, these men in long white dresses with caps on their heads, who can dance their amazing dances for a very long time, mastering weightlessness and standing firmly, not falling, dancing in a circle. Rami was their spiritual ancestor.
Very interesting.
Rum, Rumi – something familiar. Oh, yes. After all, this is the name of Byzantium, ancient Byzantium, Byzantine Anatolia, a place in southern Turkey. Before the conquest of this place by the Persians and Islamic Turks, it was known as Rome. Roman places. In Arabic, “Rumi” – Roman. Perhaps this refers to the Romans who lived in those places, to the Anatolian areas themselves. In Turkey, there is a tomb of Rumi – also known as the Mevlana Museum – in the city of Konya, Türkiye.

Rumi was from a family of a noble court theologian and his family faced flight, poverty and wandering because of the Mongol invasion of their state of Khorasan. They stopped in the region of southern Turkey, among the Seljuk Turks, where young Rumi received an education and was imbued with a Sufi mood. The most interesting thing that I would like to emphasize is that all the troubles, wars, the death of his son – strengthened him in his views and in old age he devoted himself to literature and preaching. Although his legacy is small, it is very significant. In his poems, he glorifies man, the values of man, his greatness. And this was revolutionary for the society of that time, since it went against the religious teachings of that time.

And thanks to this, his Masnavi appears – the most widely read poem in the world from his legacy. These are couplets in rhyme. And although there is no connection in his work, the tempo and rhythm are felt. The author wrote his work in part already reading it to his student – and here is the purest crystal purity of relations – no one appropriated it, did not sign under the lines, but passed it on, put it on paper and left a legacy as the work of Rami, indicating that the student wrote it. Rumi’s wisdom is beautiful and his poems are magnificent. His tone and tact in writing couplets is beautiful, it is refined and light. And it conveys the mood and talent of Rumi. At least that passage that is known to everyone – about the elephant. That everyone who touched the elephant described it in the dark as if they were feeling a certain part of the animal. And the end of the story is that everyone called it in their own way without seeing everything in general, but if they had turned on the light……
Beautiful…..

I express my gratitude to the @AgaKhanMuseum Toronto

All exhibits shown in the post are exhibits of the museum and are presented for viewing. There is nothing better than looking at the past through today’s history. Thank you.

Midland is a beautiful city

Since Midland was not far from where we first encountered Lake Huron in winter, we decided to visit it. I forgot to say that Penetanguishene the name is long and difficult for visitors to pronounce, so it was shortened by half and even the old name of the railway station was Penetang.

Midland is on the road to Penetanguishene.

That is, you need to drive through Midland to get to that city. Therefore, all roads lead to Midland. And although this city on the map is somehow nondescript and seemingly unremarkable. But this is the city with which the history of Huronia is connected. It is located south of the Georgian Bay’s 300 islands and is very economically developed.

Of course, when we went into the Midland Museum and saw those old photographs reflecting the former life of this city, I was very sorry that now there is no railroad to this wonderful place. But once it was the railroad that filled this area with life.
But the history of this place is connected with the history of the Hurons – a local Indian tribe that had a large settlement in this area and a developed economy and was engaged in the extraction of beaver fur, fur and grew corn.
The Huron tribe or otherwise called Wendat lived in this place. Due to diseases, wars and displacements, they migrated and now there are 5000 of them and their reservation is in Quebec. However, for us they left a reminder of themselves in the form of an Indian village, Huron village, which is in the Huron Museum.

I already wrote that we didn’t have to choose the time and weather, we used what we had and were very happy that the museum was open on Monday.
Yes, I want to note that it was in Canada that I fell in love with small towns for their museums.
No other large museum in Toronto has such a colorful exhibit. To see a real store from 1900, to see the design models of ships that sank in Lake Huron, to see the desks at which our great-grandmothers sat – it’s worth coming to the Huron Museum on Monday.

And the winter continued. And the snow fell, as if the gray sky had a hole and could not stop until it poured out all the snow. And there were snowstorms in places both on the road and in the field. But it was all worth it to get to this Huron village. The museum workers opened the door for us and we found ourselves behind a wooden fence in a small cozy settlement, which was all made of wood. In front of us there was a small roofed table made of thin tree branches and a log-hewn table, a half-hut, where people were apparently sitting. Further on there was a hut that went underground – the shaman’s house. The tribe’s shamans did not live in the village, but were in seclusion and came when called. The shaman’s house was half underground – I assume that this was for insulation from the cold and heat. In front of the entrance there were animal skins and some other symbols.

Huron/Wendat(Ouendat) Village

For tourists and visitors, everything is built like this, just so that we can see examples. Opposite the shaman’s house there was something like a wooden table covered with leaves and capes. Under it there was a hole and the remains of firewood. We were told that this was the place where the shaman treated people – they would put the sick person on top and light a fire underneath and fumigate. In our time, I do not know if such rituals exist, but I can confirm that many indigenous people study Indian medicine. Further on there is a large tall wooden house, because of which we came to see this village. The house is unique. It is built of large wooden beams. It has a solid foundation and a semi-oval high roof. That is, the roof arch is high. And when we entered this winter blizzard weather, when we were covered with snow in this dwelling, then all the fuss, all the bad weather remained outside the doors. Inside the house there are two floors. In the middle between rests of the fire – they cooked food and warmed themselves there. On these floors, on wooden crossbars, people slept. Wooden houses are very long and high. And in Indian villages there were up to 50 of them. Sometimes even more. All such villages were necessarily built near water, reservoirs, rivers and lakes. Inside the houses there are beaver skins. And for some reason they made me sad that this served as a source of wars and the death of tribes because at some time in history it became a value and they fought, killed and pursued them. Beaver skins were most prized. Also, when the first settlers came to this peninsula and met these tribes, they saw women dressed in rich fur clothes, in beautifully sewn fur decorations and decorated with gold jewelry. After that, a stream of hunters and traders came here This disrupted the normal life of people. Changed. Changed forever. It is also interesting to note that the Indians exchanged skins for glass beads and iron products for growing corn. When burying the dead, they placed glass beads and iron vessels, shovels, knives next to the deceased. This was considered wealth and honor. There are such glass beads in the jewelry of local tribes. Well, today I want to thank them for the fact that thanks to these tribes, corn was brought to Europe. And to this day, the cultivation of corn is a priority for local residents and their pride. Although corn is a difficult crop to grow, it is multifaceted and good for both livestock farming and food. Its production and cultivation brings profit and helps the circulation of rural producers. Today in Europe it competes with the production of wheat and even surpasses it. The Indians also grew tobacco and were engaged in fishing and hunting. The communities were mostly vegetarians. Only in winter, during the hunting season, did they eat meat. Basically, their food consisted of plant and fish.
In the history of Midland there is a story associated with the name Jean de Brebeuf.

But I won’t write about it today, because we were trying to go to St.Ignace II,but we were unlucky again. There was a very strong snowstorm on the road. The snow was raging. It was getting dark. The cars were driving carefully one after another along the highway. Visibility was impaired. The snow was sticky and thick. We turned onto the road to the area. We drove to the sign. There the road became dangerous as written on the road signs. I still continued driving until it narrowed to one passable car and when entering or entering the place we found a pickup truck that blocked the entrance. It was standing on the road, blocking the passage. There was no one in the car and there was snow around the car. We turned around and drove away, deciding that the trip would need to be repeated in more suitable weather and time.

Huronia was waiting for us.

A trip always leads to new discoveries and wonderful impressions and long memories. And now a week has passed, the road dust has settled, my thoughts are already cold and I return to those days with memories. And everything was cool.Just a trip to Huronia. For you this is something, then I will reveal a secret. This is a peninsula adjacent to the large Lake Huron (by the way, the name of the lake comes from the same name as the peninsula). The lake is divided by the borders of America and Canada. On the other side is Michigan, and from here we, the residents of Ontario.

Previously, and this was 400-500 years ago, this neighborhood was intense. Then somehow the activity died down, then in the 1900s everything was actively revived again and looking at the photographs – there were huge ships with tourists, grain and wood were transported on ferries, cars and equipment were brought here. Ladies with lace parasols from the sun walked along the shore, cars with mustachioed men in tailcoats with canes drove. And a railway went to the main desks.
Interesting?
That’s great.
It all started with the fact that I looked in one word in Wikipedia. And word for word, and off we went. I could not sleep and when we went to the peninsula, I wanted to see everything with my own eyes.

We decided to visit two cities, namely Penetanguishene and Midland.

Penetanguishene is town in Simcoe Country first appears in records in 1882, but probably has an older history due to the terrain. The city’s buildings descend from the mountain to Lake Huron and has a beautiful harbor, where I already wrote above, at the end of the 18th-19th centuries life was booming. Most of the residents were from Quebec and French, so even now the main part of the city has French or French-named streets. Very little remains of the former city now, since its inhabitants are less than 10,000. Once this city received its name from the Wyandot Indians and means a place where the sand quickly grinds or land of the while rolling sands.

I didn’t see it there, as well as the lake itself, since in mid-January there are huge mountains of snow and the lake freezes. It turns into a road for snowmobiles. And the snowmobile traffic is active. Apparently, the snowfalls are heavy and people get tired of removing snow near their houses. The snow falls constantly and sometimes in waves, forming blizzards. The time I was there – gray clouds of snow, snow sometimes in flakes, sometimes in a solid wall. Then the locals leave their cars near their houses, dig out a small path from their house to the main road, where the snow is removed perfectly. And they go using snowmobiles. Reliable, fast and cheap. So these are the routes and lively skating I found on the lake and on the pier, a frozen boat crashed into the ice, which was waiting for spring and warmth to ride tourists around the lake.

The city was famous and popular precisely when in 1793 the governor of Upper Canada visited it and saw that the place was strategic and decided to build a military base here. It was built and in 1813-1814 a railway was built there. Life in this area was very active in those years. It was a stronghold against attack by the Americans and was connected to another important city in this region – Berry.

It is difficult to even imagine now that there were powerful defensive structures, as history says, along the entire coast and even on the Wasaga beaches, where there are now a huge number of beaches and hotels.

The same story also writes that these defensive structures along with the ships did not stand for long and sank several years later.

Gradually, from the middle of the 19th century, this place ceased to be military, at the beginning of the 20th century it turned into a commercial and industrial one. Well, now it is dying, since the main income comes from tourists who come for a short Canadian summer and settle in hotels, relax, enjoy local parks and fishing.
It is necessary to mention one more attraction – there are three islands near the city. Ferries go to these islands even today (though not now, everything is frozen). Indian families still live on the islands. I think that the movement of snowmobiles that I saw when I arrived at the harbor is the movement to the islands. I did not see a boat, and in such winter temperatures a ship cannot sail on ice. I read that there are ferries to the islands. One of the islands is the largest and it is closest to the city. We decided to go and see a tourist place called Discovery Harbour.

This place is located at the mouth of the harbor and has many restaurants and a famous local theater. But unfortunately they were closed. Apparently we chose the wrong time.
However, there is a certain charm in this, when you arrive at such a time. This is that there are no tourists, few people and in the hotel a hot tub awaits you, in which you sit and watch the snow fall. The feeling is indescribable. The ratio of temperatures, the magic of water and the play of water with temperature.
How can you forget this? And then just hot tea.

Incarnation-An inspired sequence of 12th century carols through the 15th century to today

On January 10, 2025, a very important and unforgettable event in the cultural life of Toronto took place. As part of the Christmas concerts, this unique evening was held, dedicated to renewal, the winter solstice, the birth of a new year, a new era, a new era, a turning point in the year – when the sun is first covered by clouds and the day is full of gloom and cold, and with each new day of renewal more light comes, darkness goes to its usual time and takes its usual volume. Shakespeare’s Sonnet 16th century, “Beautiful Youth”, sounds. The choir members enter the hall by candlelight, in darkness and absolute silence and sounds ,,O Sapientia”by Janella Lucyk.

The voices of the choir soloists are clearly selected and harmoniously placed, as the next piece sounds, they seem to envelop us with singing from all sides, a feeling of 3D reality arises, when the sound seems to come from behind, goes around in a circle from left to right, rises up and sounds powerfully from all sides. This is an amazing feeling that makes everyone sitting hold their breath, and this continues from the beginning of the concert until its end.

Thanks to the masterful creativity and unrealistically beautiful gentle creation of atmosphere to conductor Daniel Taylor.

Shakespeare’s sonnet sounds in the head and the actions taking place on stage repeat the movement of the sun, when after the winter solstice, the motionless sun begins to move slowly, giving the promise of light to conquer the cold darkness. We see how the wheel is turning more and more, the pagan holiday of geola, the Wheel, conveys the mystery and meaning of the idea of the year, when one ends and slowly comes the transformation and the light gradually enters the winter cold, stillness and darkness. Every day it gains more and more strength and power and eventually it defeats the darkness and gives us hope for renewal, rethinking and victory. This is very significant, since this year 2024 at the hour of the winter solstice many dates and holidays coincided and for the first time this coincidence gave hope. Gave birth to hope. A moment that echoed through many cultures around the world. Sacred. Touching. Magical, when this state is conveyed through singing and accompanied by the music of the Christmas carols of the 12-15 centuries, Scottish, Italian chants

The Toronto Consort Choir sounds wonderful, divine, angelic together with Schola Cantorum Singers.

The entire concert is based on the cycles of the Gregorian calendar and in the finale, it sounds updated, powerful, loud, apotheosis-like at first ,,Lully, lulla” by Nicolas Burns and final,,Hymn to the Mother of God” /J.Tavener/

The fact that everyone in the hall was in the magic of the melody and singing – it sounds like nothing. Divine performance and a wonderful idea for a concert. Thank you for such a creation and the opportunity to realize it THE TORONTO CONCORT( 427 Bloor St.W.,Toronto,Canada) Heather Turnbull and all creative team.

Beautiful music from the 12th-15th centuries was heard, hymns, music by Poston, Pärt, Britten, Tavener.

I love classical music, but what makes the Toronto Consort unique is that each concert remains in the memory. The memories are so vivid and colorful, they give a connection between modernity and classical works and introduce the authors and performers.

For me, this is a line that cannot be erased or changed and I am proud that there is a society in Toronto and I enjoy their work.
As they beautifully showed the flow of time, which has a cycle, a circle, and being born, becoming stronger, we produce more and more light, becoming adults and mature, we give our light, give birth to victory and life and after the summer solstice, in the aura of strength and life, we gradually fade away. Today we are talking only about birth and victory. I will describe the second part later. I have the strength and did not live to see it.

For all those who are obsessed with this unique place of intimacy and treasures, I inform you that the next concert will take place on January 25th,2025 at 8 pm and you can get more information at the link:

2022.Open Reception

Creating a new project with the onset of the new year, these are very significant changes in my career and in my life. What influences the final result and how all the work changes in connection with the new project, it is very difficult to talk about it a lot, and even more difficult to explain.

In previous years, I got used to keeping silent and doing my job, showing you the result of the work. And this always hid the colossal expenditure of time on the production of the product. The final result came out as something easy to do, not requiring large expenses and time. But with the complication of my tasks, I have to abstract myself from life, close myself off in order to produce more and more, create and implement my plans. That is why today I am simply telling you that I am alive, healthy and very busy.

All my free time, which is very little, I devote to my family, children and walks. This helps to distract myself and, conversely, creates an atmosphere of community and comfort.

a small drop from future projects I am posting for you now.
