Original or Not

Today I want to talk about creativity.
This is a complex topic, but I will try to explain it to you in an accessible way and without pressure.
What is original creativity today and what is not.
Computer intelligence has existed in the Internet space for more than two years. Simply put, a bot or a chatbot.
And in two years we have already realized that when they want to deceive us, when they do not want to help, but to cause problems, we communicate with chatbots and this does not give any effect. Well, this is a whole problem and suffering for our grandparents, who “fight” all day because of some minor everyday problems, waiting for these bots on pay phones. I feel sorry for these old people, God bless them.
There is a way out of these tricky bots. If you ask a question not as a continuation of the dialogue, but contact for an appointment, then the bot turns into a live employee and everything can be solved. That is, in order to confirm each step of the request, you need to be able to understand the Internet and computers at least a little, which, unfortunately, our old people do not know how to do.

In art, the same story. We have come a long way in the last 10 years and every artist now has programs that give him the opportunity to create paintings, illustrations and help him be creative.
Can this be called original? I think so. After all, this is what we have today.
In fact, you can create a stencil (black and white image) of any picture, transfer it to canvas and paint it.
Therefore, it is easy to become an artist. And I invite you to be one.
That’s all. This is the time for lovers of experiments.
Create, create, exhibit and bear the name of an artist.

In addition to the above, I publish my works, which characterize me as a traditionally abstract artist.
And this is 1000% original
I publish my acrylic works.
Why don’t I put them up for sale on this site?
Because you are too lazy to look at previous works. Why should I spend days adding them to the site?
Ha-ha-ha, only Chinese, Jewish bots view my posts and new pages. It’s an interesting time now, my dears.
But the site is absolutely original and I run my pages and write and publish posts in an original way, not bo and not artificial intelligence. I spend my time for you to read this. I respect you, my dear readers.
So have a good trip and look at my new works.
With respect, yours

Nature and the Artist VINCENT VAN GOGH

This is a very large article where I, as an experienced artist, am trying to understand and understand the work of the artist of the past, who became a symbol of Dutch artists.

The line in Museum of Van Gogh in Amsterdam

A tragic and very sensual story of the artist’s life and work introduced me to a visit to the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. The museum has a separate exhibition of a contemporary Chinese artist MATTHEW WONG who follows in the footsteps of Van Gogh.

The exhibition is located on the left side on three floors and attracts visitors with its scale.

I would pay respect to the organizer this idea, since it speaks of the heredity of the artist’s work, that he really wanted it, because the whole life of Van Gogh’s brother Theo was aimed precisely at this.

Separately, three floors display the works of the artist Vincent Van Gogh himself and partly his friends.
I (I think not only me) was shocked by the story of death and the third floor, where the last days of the artist’s life are told in detail and his last works are exhibited, saturated with bright colors, which are very eye-catching, even without knowing the history of their creation.

I believe that Vincent had an unusual view of the world, in his mind there was a special view of the color scheme and he reproduced this in his last paintings. For this, huge thanks go to those initiators who saw this in his paintings and raised Van Gogh’s work to international popularity and gratitude.
Of course, I fully admit that it is possible to repeat his work, but I really like the video image generated by AI and which I will now present.
It really catches my eye. It’s the long aftertaste of his strokes and the brightness of his colors. Rich yellow, bluish, clear azure blue.
I would especially like to dwell on his love for his brother, his gratitude for him and these beautiful letters, where he addresses his brother, draws portraits of him and sends them to his brother, where he congratulates his brother on the birth of his son and gives his nephew a uniquely tender picture.

Agree, how vulnerable she was the soul of this artist when you look at this picture.
And now, thanks to marketing and the image of this picture on bags, coffee cups, notepads and pens, you seem to appreciate creativity even closer. Hold it in your hands.

In general, I like this approach to perpetuating the work of talented artists of the beginning of the last century, who created several new directions in which modern artists work today. It was a time of an unusually strong economic, cultural, and industrial breakthrough of humanity.

There remain many achievements in science, cultural and scientific discoveries One of these was Vincent Van Gogh’s unusual yellow-blue mark.

This fabulous art from Vang Gogh is my favorite.

This page will add even more interesting details to you

Announce

My Petrykivka from past year

I am pleased to announce all the changes that accompany this month.

Sometimes you shouldn’t stir up the past, even if it’s not that long ago. The page is closed. We live and work. Announcement and planning for the coming months.

Not everything in our lives is so neglected, so now an announcement of news from me.
Firstly, I want to congratulate everyone who reads me on International Mother Language Day.

Still, why celebrate it?
If humanity had not created writing and language for communication, we would hardly have had global communication between nations today. And although we are all representatives of different nationalities today, we are united by knowledge of the English language, which the majority of us speak.
And if we don’t know this language, then our circle of communication is greatly narrowed. Of course, we can use the services of translators, but this makes communication more difficult and difficult.
Therefore, I only welcome learning new languages as an opportunity to expand my abilities.
The past week was very active and I can’t boast to you that I painted or exhibited anything in galleries. I don’t have enough energy and time. I’ll try to catch up and present you with new works.

My immediate plans include a return to icon painting and the final stages in the production of icons. An announcement of these actions will be coming soon.
After the seminar that took place last week, I am preparing to submit my visions for planning assistance and developing art in my city. Here, I would be happy to listen to your ideas. You can send me and enter into a chat with me on the FB page

https://www.facebook.com/helenpolishukart

where I have been publishing my work for the last two years.
Please, I will be glad. Believe me, I check and respond to emails on that page.

The next point is that I received a lot of offers, both related and not to the last year of my activity. And this is both the creation of films and the organization and implementation of projects.
Will I continue them in the future? Let’s take a look, study the offers and choose what suits me and what I need.

Still, the emphasis is on completing the creation and printing of the book and continuing to study the history of art and searching for points of joint projects in this direction. The choice is aimed at developing programs and projects in this area and related.

The next thing I continue to be interested in is the creation of new forms of selling works from creative people. Well, something that has not yet been created.
This is where I am interested in the geniuses of our planet and their clubs.
After all, I already emphasized at the seminar that creative people are divided into (my opinion) two groups. The first group is absolutely creative people who cannot sell. They can only create. There are many of them. They are passionate about the creation process. And that’s all. There are always such people someone must support and sell their product. It could be an organization, a gallery, a restaurant or a government agency, anyone. Believe me, this is a big win, you can live and make money on this, and an example of this is the same Van Gogh or Picasso, and even Mozart , who during their lifetime did not sell enough, but created a lot. And now their works are wonderfully used by their heirs and generations.
Second people are managers of their creative self.

Unfortunately or fortunately, there are fewer such people and they can be called blacksmiths of their idea, their craft.

They create, analyze, select, study, accumulate and implement.
So it’s no longer a secret for a modern artist that it’s simply impossible to live off drawing alone.

Today you need to work at a surviving job and then relax and draw. And what’s new is that the artist himself must now learn to have many computer skills in order to be able to sell and create himself.

Now we look ten years into the future, the conditions of survival will become even worse. And all this is due to the rapid development of digital.

I am optimistic about these next ten years, because I don’t need any more for my activities, then it will become more and more difficult for me to manage myself. That’s what I’m leading to? I’m leading to the fact that my stage of accumulating my artistic works has almost passed and I am pleased to enter the period of implementing these works, working on transferring my skills to students.
And here is a new announcement. I continue my mentoring work. This is not only icon painting, which I mentioned above. This is also the creation of maser box offices and workshops.

And the last announcement.

Since I have already entered the senior category, I will be happy to celebrate my last visit.

On February 21st, I hosted monthly Seniors’ Advisory Group meeting where I learned a lot of interesting and important things for me as a resident of Etobicoke.

To be continued. Stay, don’t switch

The ending of the year

I want to thank everyone who is interested and reading this post now.

Thank you, friends, for being there.
This year there were many interesting events related to my artistic activities.
I didn’t always have time to report this, and sometimes I was deliberately silent, because I don’t like to discuss , but the year is ending and I’m pleased to resume.

At the beginning of the year, a jury selected my work to make a banner in the city of Pickering near Toronto and now my composition adorns the main street of the city.
When I created the banner, I used a composition of the wave or element symbol, which is inherent in the image used in the First Nation in combination with the popular Petrykivka style, Ukrainian traditional style.

I am very pleased with this decision in the style of color. Since the element of water is blue and the city of Pickering is located on Lake Ontario. The flowers depicted on the banner speak of an earthly image.
Below is the banner Water Element’s image:

Later, in the summer, I returned to this image and, creating a collection in the Petrykivka style, I depicted this composition on wood again.

Autumn gave me my dream and I flew out of media life for a month and took up icon painting. While teaching lessons, I not only had students, but I myself went through and updated my knowledge. This is how my icons appeared.

A huge incentive for me was the result of the jury, which selected my two works in Petrykivka style for the exhibition Roots, which will open in January 2024 in Toronto.

When I sit down to create a painting, I first of all study my previous works. So, this beautiful painting was created, which is dedicated to my beloved Lvov

And absolutely new two large decorative paintings. These are memories of summer, sun, warmth and flowers, happiness and love. Large butterfly on canvas, made in a mix techniques and creating an extraordinary atmosphere of freshness and joy.

I would like to wish you, my readers, a good next year, health and prosperity to you and your families.

Merry Christmas!

Exhibition in Neilson Park Creative Centre

Today I was invited to the exhibition in Neilson  Park Creative Centre by my friend Barbara Urbanchyk.
It is a joint exhibition of several artists in which she participates.
I admire her work, her tenderness.
She is a very delicate artist and very tender.
I leave this
film here as a memory of this day

I really love everything what is connected with art and I am very friendly with artists.

I understand how difficult it is for an artist to create some art.
It’s even harder to present it at exhibitions.
Huge work is being done before the exhibition.
Starting from picture frames and ending with invitation cards.
The artist’s success is very fragile.
It happens that a lot has been done, but people come just to see.
We are faced with the problem of integrating art into the Internet.

Now more often began to show painting of artists on the Internet.
Exhibitions often remained as part of the artist’s performance, but sales at exhibitions decreased significantly.
Huge halls and art galleys also suffer.
Artists are looking for any way to advertise themselves.
A very difficult time for creative people.
But I hope that the transfer of our work to the Internet galleries will help us acquaint with art lovers and connoisseurs around the world
Yours,
Helen

Petrykivka painting

Petrykivka is popular folk style in Ukraine and in the world.

I today just want to remind you that this kind of painting is very old.

Petrykivka…..
It originates from the very first rock paintings, where symbols and joss were drawn.

Petrykivka……
Later, in temples and rooms, the custom of drawing symbols that adhere to the Petrikov style was preserved.
I very often wrote that drawing these painting, the artist creates a special message for the place where the painting will be.

Therefore, when I talk about the amazing month of April, I tell you about my inspiration to draw wonderful paintings for you

I create them, filling them with warmth and tenderness.

main image

Less than a day after the end of the painting,, April.Petrykivka,,
I immediately wanted to sit down and draw another painting.
Already changing the shape of the flower and creating it in green.

Why green?It is spring now))
I did not notice how I started plotting the painting.
If earlier I wanted to fill all the canvas with flowers?but today I selected flowers by drawing them not often, creating space between them.

close to image and sign

I twined the branches with flowers as in the previous work.

To make a painting and at the same time make it an individual, I used gold paint.

Earlier I did not have to work with this paint.
I took a chance, but I was justified.
I shined the ends of the leaves with golden paint.
She did not stand out, but rather a little stared with the main yellow-brown-green leaves.
This was the idea of the painting.
Here I publish a video for your better viewed the painting.

It turned out very gentle and light.
To show how it is combined in different rooms, I will give below a few photos

in room

Unusually spirit and tender turned out this painting.

Many people have come.
It was a very warm and cheerful event.
Snow piled up,ice paved roads.
Return to home you could just dress up your skates and go))
And this is in the middle of April ))
The weather in Toronto just pampers us….
After the performance there will be a break in the work of the theater.
But I have a very tight schedule.
I am preparing for the re-sale of paintings in the folk style and I represent my artwork on the seminar of Toronto teachers. For them I prepared invitation cards, which I show you

This is a list of acrylic paints on paper with a folklore style.
About how the paintings are created, I’ll talk today.
Folklore style is very popular in every country.
We are, in Ukraine, have the most famous as Petrykivka painting.
These are drawings with elements of flowers and birds.
I made a lot of paintings in this style, and now I am preparing for the exhibition, where I will show a mix of folklore with a Petrykivka in a slightly humorous style.
If you want to see how folklore paintings are created, drop by my website-
When I start working, I create an image.
For example, it will be flowers. When the shape of the flowers is defined, I put a basic color from the colors in a small sketch with a pencil.
After applying the flowers, I paint the corners of the picture, observing a small sequence-below the flowers should be large, at the top-small. They twist the branches.
The shapes of the flowers are not necessary. They are repeated. They can be different.
The branches are covered with leaves and also larger from below, above-small. Their curvature repeats the direction of the flowers.

The picture is obtained as a carpet, colored and mottled.

I show on the example of this picture how the images are distributed. The flowers twist the bird, but do not touch it
The bird seems to float, but this is only at the beginning of the painting.
In the final part around the bird will be denser  flowers and they will fit tightly to the bird.
The color of the picture is collected from the combined colors. Classically, it’s two colors. And…… that’s ……all.
Now …in modern style use more colors, which gives the painting a motley.
After creating an image and  drawing it, let it dry and  cover by varnish.
So you can draw on all wooden covers, on paper, on cardboard, on canvas.
I use canvas and oil paints.
Another one my favorite subject is the creation of a huge variegated folklore canvas painting.
I will show today a recently finished job.
If you want to see how folklore paintings are created, drop by my website
I created it for the last exhibition .
But this pfinting is very beautiful, fashionable and modern looks in our interior.
It is harmonious both with the classical style, and it is included in the vanguard decision.
I think this is a good decision)
If I had the opportunity, I would describe in this style the walls, furniture, clothes and decorate the premises.
When you create paintings in this style, you can not stop. I want to do a new and new painting.
The work itself is very exciting.
