I am very glad to get a few minutes again and write little, share with you my news.
I am now in a state where all kinds of my creative activities are involved. Here is the creation of video films and the script for a future film, and the editing of an already created film and coordination, and planning the next step in community service and new acquaintances, and preparing for voting for an Oscar 2023 and….hmm…. There will be heavy snow tomorrow, another one in March.How much more?
That’s all?
No, I still regularly do household chores, from which no woman will run away.
And I’m getting ready for a big concert, which will be at the end of May. That’s all for now. Secret. I’ll tell you the rest as the month approaches.

Today, March 9, is the birthday that every Ukrainian knows. This is the birthday of Taras Grigoryevich Shevchenko.
An outstanding poet, writer, bart and artist. His name has remained in the culture of Ukraine as one of the most prominent cultural figures, whose works give us strength and teach entire generations of Ukrainians.
Today he is known and respected not only in Ukraine, he is taught, his works are read by all the people of the planet.

“Love and Betrayal”

The author of this poem sent it to me by mail. I agreed with the author that our Canadian actor from Kyiv, Oksana Smilska, can read it best of all.

Oksana created an audio track. And the poem was lying on my table, waiting for its time. And now, when its time came and I started editing the video, I just dropped my hands from the difficulties.

A special heartfelt poem, a very talented performance by the actress put me in a corner. I understood that she had to create a script. He and she. The conflict is when She realizes that he has betrayed, that he is lying and will continue to betray and forgives him. But here, attention forgives, but does not agree with him, but tells him that your humiliation of me is wrong, I am fit to be loved and I will find myself a loved one. And in this sense, in this scenario, I created this mini-film. It is to show that in no case should you humiliate yourself and give in, but you need to free yourself and find someone who loves you.

It is very important to convey this to young people who do not know how to deal with conflicts. The fact is that a few years ago I studied this topic by writing one of my first scripts, and then, unfortunately, I found a lot of psychological training about what is possible and what is not. What is bad and what is good. But these trainings do not go beyond these terms. There are many films, serials, they end in a crisis. So, He tormented Her and either they broke up, or He left. No. Most often He tormented, tormented and will continue to torment. And the healing or the way out is not to call yourself a victim, but to decide for yourself what is important in order to become happy. With such thoughts, I sat down to create this mini film and this video appeared. It is difficult, but it is. I will review the year. I always do this, the video will lie down and I will open it in time, I will look with a new fresh look. And today I am publishing it for you. Undoubtedly, a very good poem and work by Oksana Smilska.

Well, to be precise, I’m in the process of making two films right now, which one will shoot first is hard to say.

Even three-third is the continuation of Mimmy’s Adventures. This is a set of fresh videos for the plot of the next series.

But the first two are future films.

Although, like all real cinematographers, I very much hide the preparation, but I can already reveal some details. So, two scripts are written.

Somewhere they are similar, the theme is historical.

But somewhere they are very different. They touch on different topics.

The scripts, I repeat, are already ready. Now for the final part about the writers, if you think this is where my work ends, it’s a mistake.

This is just the beginning.

 

Having gone through the difficult path of selection and agreement with the customer, now we need to translate this into a film, and then work with the production and producer.

Waiting for evaluation and correction from the director. Discussion of the nuances – how to shoot it. Not all the possibilities (I have a financial site) are easy to put into the film/what I’m wrote.

And here are the discussion about how to shoot this or that scenes. If I hadn’t worked in the cinema before, I would have been scared. But I am a tough nut to crack and gradually came to what I am doing today.

 

I am very interested in every stage of making a film. And I love difficulties and overcoming them.

I already wrote that when I had difficulties, I sat down and overcame them.

Therefore, tomorrow, this week, for a month, I am waiting for an agreement with the director of his vision of the film according to my script. Then the calculation of the budget of the film and again a conversation with those or more people about how we will shoot this or that scene.

I emphasize that for this I practiced a lot, trained on short films, honed my practice in making videos, this gives me a vision of the whole construction of the film. This is about the first scenario,first future film.

The second scenario has been created too. It is very good. It is at the stage of organizing financing for it. I, as a,, parent ,,of,, my script,,

, will invest here, possibly part of the time and part of the financing also, since the film is very dear to me.

Of course, I will open an account to financing the film and I will ask you to help or suggest who to work with and who can support the making of the film,who can donate for creation film.

This is the next stage and if it goes well, then our second film will be. Did you think that you would write on a piece of paper and this will all end?

Even in the 18th century, all the best poets and writers whose works have survived to this day, they gathered around patrons who publish their works. Nothing is random and I really like it too.

 

And the short films ?I love my short films. And over this year, many festivals have loved them.

A distinctive feature of my films is a clear presentation of the theme, a refined script and a lot of modern special effects. Therefore, a movie about Mimmy’s Adventures is on its way.

Which street festival in Toronto in August do you prefer?Part II

So yesterday you visited together with my video at the Chinese street festival, which took place last weekend.
I was impressed by the cordiality of the organizers and the organization of the festival.
An extraordinary interest to the festival brought a huge number of people to the festival. There were residents of the whole city. And I am sure that they all tried a little Chinese food.
I was impressed by the excellent organization of the festival. I put 5+ from the 5 to Chinese street festival.
And what amazed me?
Among the restaurants, was with vegetarian food, which was distributed completely free of charge.
Two days of the festival, without interruptions. And all two days there was a crowd of people. This is a very well thought out marketing.

Thoughtful preparation gave a large number of visitors. A great organization.

Well, now I will tell and show the festival, where I worked by the invitation.
It was an Indian festival in the eastern part of the city.
The Indian festival has been considered for several years the largest festival of the city. Traditionally it is located on Gerrard Street East in the eastern part of Toronto, where the majority of the population is Indians.

I got a shift from 4 to 8pm, under the  closing of the festival.
I was on duty near the pavilion, where Indian rarities of loy photographs and selfies were exhibited.
The whole festival was filled with families from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and other neighboring countries.
This wildlife of the motley crowd combined with the smell of delicious food in restaurants, music on stage and exposed clothing stores, gave a color to the event.
Hindus are very temperamental people. And I understand, even though their dancing and slow, but synchronously do so hands like a wake-up organizer of the festival, Taseem and a famous dancer from India, posing for me for a photo-I can not do,sorry.

The organizers tried to think through all the details.

The price of food was reduced in restaurants, the price of selling costumes and clothes from India was reduced. There was a lot of entertainment for children, there was a lot of music,, on-live,,which is great.
I saw the dances and they captured me.
In general, Indian culture is very old, and  drawn to it me…..
I would be able to dance Indian people, because I do yoga, but where is my youth?

The street was full of  children laughter, the spoke of different people and music.
Special attention was attracted by a car-taxi.
This is a small car-bike made for carrying people. It is open from both sides, as it is hot in India. But there is a roof, since there are tropical rains.

It is not high-speed, it is designed to carry two or three people.
But in India it is chased among the crowds of people. There is such a crazy speed by this small car.
So this absolutely orginal version was brought from India and supplied for review and photographs with it.
Very much everyone wanted to touch and sit in it.
A little such a smart car.

 

People on the stage were replaced by one field of another. The scene did not rest.
It is felt that the Hindus are very artistic people.
A lot of young people spoke out. It pleases. The young  adhered to traditions and develops modern music.

I could not resist and I also danced.
I was supported by unknown men.

The guys gathered costumes, I stopped them and put a white cap on my head.
– How are you? I asked them
-Fine…but what is if this hat for a boy?
-No…no, nothing -I said
-And what is it if this hat for the wedding ceremony ?
-Oh, well, it’s a too small for me (hat fell from me) ,for my head. At the same age, that 10-11 years of age, the boy marries?What age the boy and why, if on my hat does not fix and falls,too small….
-Ah,you not understand in the Hindu traditions?

April’s Petrykivka.Part two

I was fortunate through an all-powerful facebook to consult a talented artist from Ukraine HALYNA NAZARENKO

When I drew a painting, I asked her for advice. She advised me to put the flowers together in a wreath.
I made it.

Of course this is happiness when you draw Petrykivka.
Extraordinary impressions.
I just say one word-charm))
When you create a composition, you draw shapes, you sketch outlines with a pencil, you do not see the whole painting as a whole.
Then you color it in a tone. Then you amplify that tone. The color often wilts and you have to repeat it again.
It turns out multilayered oil paint.
I know that many people paint with acrylic or gouache on paper.
I paint with oil. This is my underscore.
After the first sketch of the picture, you give it a rest. The paints settle down and in the second time you draw an ornament.
When everything is already done, you shape the shapes of leaves and flowers.
Again you give shadows and backgrounds to the painting.
At the  end, you repeat everything anew with a hardly visible dark warm tone to match the color.
Again you let it dry week.
And then the most important time begins for me. When I highlight the individual parts of the flower or leaf. The most unique thing is that the main thing here is the movement of the brush. From the center to the periphery or from the periphery to the center.

Where you can hang such a picture?
You ask yourself a question.

This painting is harmonious both in the bedroom and in the hallway.
It can be hung in the salon and in the kitchen.

I will begin to analyze my site openly and objectively.

For two years I have changed due to work on my site
I really love this work.
I started with the idea of making a gallery for my artwork.
I created a website where visitors can see my work and buy them, and there is a connection with me.
Unfortunately they contact me through the mail only bots, which I clean every day and drive into spam.
Working with the site learn me how to photograph my painting correctly.
I dreamed that visitors will buy work through the site, because my account is connected.
But visitors are afraid to do it.
I read a lot and understand that this is a disease and the problem of all artists who have personal websites.
I am grateful that I still have letters. I read each letter before I send it to the basket.
So I am very grateful to those rare comments, like this:

I will continue to work.
I want to note that I was not at all desperate that my paintings are not sold on my website and started selling paintings through other sites.
I chose several.
Only working with them, I began to determine which painting  publish and what is interesting, and what is not.

Now I’m going to open new accounts in the next months and expand sales.
I believe that it is very beneficial for a creative person to work through the Internet.
Exhibitions distract and tire.
Exhibitions take time.
It’s contacts, but often the loss.
At this time it’s just a show and for an artist this is an entertainment.

A little about the quality and style of drawing.
I try a lot and experiment
But I’m still working with oil on canvas.

I work with acrylic, it’s hard for me.
I feel it .
So I stay working in oil on canvas.
I experimented a lot with styles. I painted landscapes, portraits, created 3D panel paintings and today I returned to the beginning of this period(2014-2015).
An image of a woman ,silhouetted  a woman.It close to me.
I will continue to paint landscapes.
And this will be a big size paintings.
But I have so many  ideas to draw a female image.

I will continue to create my own collection of Petrikiv paintings.
My goal is to create such an amount to make a very beautiful exhibition of them.

I understood one wisdom.
It is not necessary to pursue popularity.
Much more expensive-to keep your style and manner of drawing.
And at exhibitions the main thing is not the quality of your paintings , but a beautiful frame and the ability to properly decorate the part of the hall assigned to you.

Summer, summer ,summer.
And I try to rest.
My son gives me a bicycle.
In the Toronto between the parks there are  bike paths.
It is practical and healthy.
So you can go around a lot of places.
I’m doing it.
On the main page of this website I put a video,where I ride a bike.

I noticed that I do not publish my photos and videos a lot.
I will do it more.
